Our Story

In 2010 when I returned to the Netherlands after working in China, I was asked to organize a trip to Europe for a group of friends. They were keen to experience the “real” Europe rather than take a typical travel agency trip. So I designed an itinerary using my local knowledge to ensure we visited traditional hotels where the stay was relaxed and casual, ensuring that we could wake up and enjoy the day at our leisure. We started our days with a delicious Western breakfast and took time to discover the history and culture of the local area. Friends told me that this low-key luxury, casual experience was a complete change to their travel experience and was their dream holiday.

After the success of this trip I become a European travel planner for my groups of friends. With family and friends we visited many different cities, forests and small towns and have seen much beautiful scenery and have experienced many European customs. The experience of these wonderful trips made me realize that there is so much for us to experience in this world and that you should become part of this. Take a step out to see a different world.

My love of travel turned into my dream to share this experience with others. In 2016, Lin-Jie Tailored Travel was officially registered in the Netherlands as an EU-qualified travel company.

Founder

Founder Li Lin leads the team who are highly motivated to Ensure your travel experience is the best.

I am Li Lin and I come from Tianjin in China. In 2002, I went to England to study English and did a Master's degree in International Marketing Management at Bournemouth University. After studying I settled in The Netherlands. I used to work as a senior manager in one of the European Top 500 companies, working and traveling between China and Europe.

I have always loved the place that I came from. After many years of living in Europe, I have taught myself to see, think and to understand the world from a diverse perspective. In the past, I used to take travel as one of my hobbies, but now I have turned my hobby into a career. I hope to use my passion, motivation and focus, to share with you my experience of various cultures and the knowledge of different regions in the world. We can help you bridge the gap between cultures and continents. Whether it is leisure travel or business co-operation and to breakdown communication barriers. Everything is arranged by us to help you achieve the best results.
